MEP SUPERVISOR

Job description

The role involves managing and coordinating the project construction department of the MEP department's bidding packages, reporting to the head of the department. The key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation, progress, quality, and labor safety for the off-site construction of the MEP department's bidding packages.
  • Creating related plans, such as personnel plan, quality plan, schedule plan, cost plan, and risk plan if any.
  • Directly managing and deploying project supervisors and subcontracting teams for construction issues and labor safety of MEP arrays at the construction site.
  • Managing and implementing warranty and maintenance issues for MEP parts in completed projects.
  • Finding reputable, quality suppliers and subcontractors to meet the needs of VTC, and advising the head of the department and the Board of Directors.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department and the Board of Directors.

Experience / Skills:

  • Graduated from university majoring in industrial electricity, automation, mechatronics, refrigeration, water supply and drainage.
  • Professional experience: more than 3 years working as a supervisor in MEP projects.
  • In-depth experience in MEP systems for industrial and civil works (electricity - light electricity, HVAC, fire protection, water supply and drainage, compressed air, boiler, etc.).
  • Experience in managing subcontractors and MEP construction teams.
  • Proficient in computers and specialized software such as Autocad, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project.
  • Ability to analyze risks and situations arising at the construction site, and understanding MEP systems.
  • Agile in work, careful and responsible for assigned work.
  • Working with the spirit of never-ending work.
  • Skilled in communication, independent work, and conflict resolution.
  • Can adapt easily to new environments, withstand high pressure at work, and have foresight and systems thinking.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who can communicate in English.
  • Fresh graduates from Polytechnic University, University of Technical Education, etc. (with good English communication ability) will be trained.
